The next Guild Meeting will be Tuesday, September 4 at our usually meeting spot, Providence Baptist Church, 4921 Randolph Rd, 28211 from 6-8p
Our new service project of blankets for Thompson Child Development Center continues. We'll hear more about the center and the children we are helping. Then we will learn a cable pattern square for the blankets. Bring size 8 needles, worsted weight yarn, and cable needles if you have them. If you don't have cable needles, just bring a double pointed needle, a pencil, a straw, a toothpick, even a paperclip, and we'll teach you how to use to cable with it!
As usual, we’ll be having show and tell at the beginning of the meeting so don’t forget to bring your latest project – finished or in progress – and tell us all about it!
A reminder, if you have not yet paid your 2007-2008 Guild dues, it’s that time of year.
If you are unable to make the meeting you also have the option of mailing your check to our Guild Treasure, Jane Johnson, at the following address:
Charlotte Knitting Guild
Attn: Jane Johnson
4234 Quail Hunt Lane
Charlotte, NC 28226
Checks should be made payable to the Charlotte Knitting Guild
Coming in October -- Lace!
Hope to see you on Tuesday! Have a great holiday weekend!
